“Healing facilitates lasting change; change facilitates healing.”
When I first met Laura 8 years ago I was immediately drawn to her - her energy and light is absolutely irresistible.
My best experience was when I was able to heal some very deep, old wounds with Laura. She was able to gently guide me through exploring issues that were presenting and help me begin the healing process. She opened a few doorways for energy to pass that were holding me back and causing painful emotions in my life. It helped me accept love and give myself healthy space to move forward. A truly powerful experience!
When you are laying on Laura's massage table you can feel the love and healing that she puts into her work. Laura's intuition with massage is something I'd never experienced before. Afterward, I felt like a completely new person. Not just in how my muscle aches and tenderness had nearly disappeared, but also how my mind and soul felt recharged. Take time for yourself with Laura - it will be an experience unlike any other.
Laura has been my Massage Therapist since 2015. I have used several different practitioners over the years but have never found someone who takes so much care and thoughtfulness with her clients. While I do have muscle tension, I also want to relax during my massage. She is gentle but strong and works with the right amount of pressure to meet the needs of my body. Laura has always been able to work out all of the knots that cause me grief in my shoulders and reduce the stress in my back and neck. She is truly gifted!
I can not only vouch for Laura’s wonderful and giving personality, but also her phenomenal skills as a massage therapist!
I work as a personal trainer and weight train multiple times per week. I also have deep muscle tension in my shoulders from competitive swimming and poor posture. After my first massage with Laura, the education that she provided helped me to make massages part of my regular wellness routine. She was able to reach rotator cuff muscles that I didn't know anyone could! My pain is gone, my range of motion is increased, and I find myself moving easier. I am convinced that Laura is part of the reason that I am able to stay injury free and still do what I love.
If you're debating about whether to see her for a massage, DO IT! You won't regret it and your body will thank you.
Laura is an incredibly talented massage therapist and is one of the only reasons I was able to cope with a chronic illness before finding a medical treatment that worked. I have chronic and debilitating migraines and Laura was able to figure out what trigger areas to work on to relieve the pain and reduce the frequency. At one point I was having between 4 and 6 migraines a week and, with treatment from Laura, I dropped to 1 a week. I now live in NYC and have yet to find a therapist as compassionate and as good as Laura. I can't recommend her highly enough!
Laura has kept me upright and moving for 7 years now with her amazing massage skills and knowledge of wellness and essential oils.
My job requires me to stand all day, plus keep my arms out/up in order to style and cut hair, so I put quite a bit of strain on my body. Massage has provided me with an awareness of my posture and what my body needs - it literally keeps my muscles healthy.
Laura is always very professional. She never starts a session without asking important questions to determine exactly what I need and how I'm feeling. Every massage is focused and tailored to my needs - I feel amazing after!
I've used Laura's amazing massage services both for relaxation and as treatment for persistent pain/sports injury - I really could not recommend her more (and do, to anyone that will listen!). As a kettlebell trainer, I am no stranger to muscle soreness and aches. She sets a great atmosphere for her massages and targets any pain points I have to alleviate them. She is a good problem solver that educates you about your body and the importance of stretching to avoid pains/strains. It really shows her deep knowledge of anatomy, massage therapy, healing, and her dedication to helping her clients. I only wish that my schedule permitted more regular visits. Thanks, Laura!
Laura is a wonderfully skilled massage therapist. I've been seeing her bi-weekly for 3.5 years because she's so effective at helping me manage my chronic pain. She's patient and perceptive, and she's incredibly skilled at working with complicated diagnoses to gently nurture a good result. If you have fibromyalgia or other chronic pain issues, you're in great hands with Laura.
I'm an internationally competing Athena Triathlete that started out as a runner. As I grew my mileage I was advised to get a massage therapist. Laura was a friend of a friend and came highly recommended. 6 years later she is still my go to therapist.
She listened to my body and adjusted her care as needed, ranging from restorative/energy work to therapeutic and deep. Once I decided to start triathlon training and going longer distance we changed to a weekly massage. Laura provided me with education that made me a stronger athlete - I spend less time recovering and more time training with no injuries. Most importantly, I feel centered and calm; loved and cared for; re-energized and grounded.
Thanks to Laura I was proud to stand on the podium at the SavageMan Triathlon, and cross the finish line at half marathons, Olympic and Sprint triathlons, and Metric Century bike races.
Wow, what a great massage! I finished a Triathlon National Championship in particularly bad shape with major cramping problems in my legs. Laura worked magic in my recovery. I use massage as part of my endurance-sport training and have worked with many practitioners. A good massage is wonderful, but a truly gifted Massage Therapist like Laura can address critical issues. I recovered far better and faster than usual and was able to run the next day. Thanks so much, Laura. I will be back!
