Laura Wurst, founder of Powerful Healing Arts, is a trauma-informed practitioner, psycho-spiritual guide, ceremonial facilitator, and catalyst for energetic change.

With over 20 years of experience as an educator, social worker, clinical bodyworker, and shaman, her work bridges intuitive practice, depth psychology, and ancient wisdom to support personal transformation with an understanding of the contemporary ailments that afflict those of us living in a fast-paced modern lifestyle.

Rooted in her ancestral lineage, Laura carries the Hungarian and Romani shamanic traditions of Táltosism in her blood. From a young age, she felt a persistent calling to the healing arts—a journey that formally began when she became a Reiki Level III practitioner and Clinical Bodyworker. She has since deepened her practice through training in the sacred mesa tradition of the Q’ero medicine people of Peru and through the Cherokee lineage of energy body healing.

Laura’s trauma-informed and heart-centered work weaves together somatic awareness, shamanic ceremony, and intuitive energy medicine. Her clients—ranging from worldwide executives and healthcare professionals, to creatives and spiritual seekers—value her ability to hold safe, compassionate space for deep energetic release and renewal.
